End of Season 2017/2018
Posted by Nobody on 18 August 2018
What a great night we had for the End of Season Dinner on Saturday 28th April!
As a club we hope everyone enjoyed.
It was fantastic to see so many people there, although it was a shame that we were missing some valuable people.
Thankyou Laura Massocchi & Megan Henry for organising the event and all the events we've had this year!
Thanks also to the captains and all the committee members who have worked so hard to make sure hockey can be played & enjoyed throughout the season.
Also a special thankyou to Jackie Marshall for her support over what has been a difficult season.
And finally to all the players who make this club so amazing - thankyou. We wouldn't be here without you.

Club Person of the Year🎉
=Charlotte Harries
- For being a fantastic captain and leader,
- despite a scary injury, that took her out of half the season - NEVER missing a single match or training session
- coaching the juniors
- always having a positive attitude
- and being chief kit monitor and maintaining our container
- for doing anything we ask her to do!
Inspire Award🎉
=Osian Evans
- energy and enthusiasm is inspirational
- he has been the driving force in growing the mens team
- without Osian, there would be no mens team.
- his enthusiasm & passion is infectious, when at times I was thinking that a mens team was bit too ambitious, his #keeness inspired me to push on.
- he has brought a fresh energy into the club that is reflected throughout.
This season has seen so much growth on the pitch that I don't doubt we will reap the rewards next season.
Bring it on!
